Hi Ted! I heard on the news that China has outlawed dog from the menu at area restaurants for the duration of the Olympics, so breathe easy! Also, your videos aren't playing all of a sudden; I wonder if there's a reason on your end, or I need to explore this further? Thanks Mike Engle
After hitting refresh a few times, I got the video to work. I'm trying to investigate what caused that problem - my guess is it's a Blogger problem and not Ted's video.
I'll try to post more information if I find out more. -Jen Reeves komu.com New Media Director
Yeah, it's like everytime I was trying to watch the video, it shows that " This video is currently not available. Please try again later." I thought it was because Chinese computer doesn't work with American vedio....anyway, so excited....can't sleep again....
Ted, Why do they call it the Olympic Green? I don't see much green. We were just watching a show about the preparation for the Olymmpics, in which they indicate there will be plenty of green, but we sure do not see it now. Explain please.
I think the Olympic Green is named that because of two things: actual green which I'm not sure I see a LOT of and Green as in environmentally green. Both the Bird's Nest and NIS have solar panels on top of the venue and rain water collection systems that recycle the water. There's also a lake on the Green and on the north end, there's a park - haven't been to that yet!
